Gustavo HFH

Graf Top II / Gallilee / Graf Genius

Hanoverian colt, Foaled March 15, 2008

Friendly, correct, athletic are the first words that come to mind when you meet this handsome colt.  Gustavo's pedigree contains the finest jumping blood available in Hanover today.  Apparently this colt already knows he is destined to be a star in the jumper ring because he has been practicing his jumping technique since the day he was born. Presented for registration in October 2008 and branded American Hanoverian Society.  AHS Judges commented, "a jumping type, beautiful head and neck, much improved topline and hind leg over dam".  Lifetime USEF and USHJA.

Gustavo HFH is sired by Graf Top II (Graf Grannus / SPS Capries / Calypso II), a full brother to Celle's state stud sire, Graf Top, who is on the way to becoming one of the best jumper horse producers with his first descendants. Graf Top II's sire, Graf Grannus was the 2004 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. He has excellent character and above average ability in all disciplines. His sire, Grannus, was a successful Show Jumper to the advanced level.

Graf Top II is out of the States Premium mare Capries. SPS Capries descends from one of Hanover's most reknowned mare lines, the line of Steingilde.  SPS Capries is the dam of the 2007 seventy-day test winner in Neustadt/Dosse, Stakkato's Highlight by Stakkato, with the dream score of 10.0 for jumping.  Through her daughter, states premium mare Grafin B by Graf Grannus, she is the granddam of last year's licensing test winner, Sabini by Stakkato. Capries full sister, Candy, is the dam of performance test winner Laptop and two other licensed sons.   SPS Capries, sire, Calypso II , is known for his rideability, good character, phenomenal jumping ability and perfect bascule.  Calypso II's sire, Cor de la Bryere is also know for extraordinary jumping ability, rideability and good character. Gotthard, know for being the best producers of jumping horses in the world, appears three times in Graf Top II's pedigree.

Gustavo's  dam, Gallilee, is sired by Graf Genius (Graf Sponek / Tarah /Trapper) who had a successful career in dressage, breed shows, hunter/jumper and is an approved jumper sire for the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. Graf Genius completed his 100-day test at November Hill Farm in 1995 with a score of 126.78, making him a Class I stallion. Graf Genius's sire, Graf Sponeck, was 2nd in his performance test with an index of 126.11 for dressage and 132.77 for jumping. He is a stallion renown for producing an excellent type with a strong athletic jump.

Gallilee's dam, Grossherzoggin is by the Elite Stallion Gaspano, who stood at the Hanoverian State Stud in Celle, Germany. Gaspano was imported in 1985 as a breeding stallion by Gerd Zuther of November Hill Farm, who credited Gaspano with "putting a stamp of excellence on sport horse breeding in America. Gaspano's sire, Gastronom, is best regarded in Germany for producing good hunter types.  The D-line is present with Davos, by Duellant, who founded a big group of stallions, very good in conformation and movement, and with great dressage talent. Influence from the Thoroughbred stallion, Der Loewe,  also appears in the lineage. Der Loewe, was in his time the best Thoroughbred stallion used in German breeding, producing especially good dressage horses as well as cross-county horses.

Gesan HFH

Gadget / Gabriella MO / Graf Top II

Hanoverian colt, Foaled April 3, 2008

Flashy, friendly, correct and very modern.  A carbon copy of his sire.  We are very, very pleased with the first foal by our Hanoverian stallion Gadget (Gesandt/Gaspano/Aristides) out of Gabriella MO (Graf Top II/Sao Paulo/Sandor).  Gadget’s offspring are proving his prepotency in passing on lovely heads and necks, correct overall conformation, excellent movement and very good minds.  Gadget is producing lovely types for show ring hunters.  Gadget has a wonderful character and willing attitude and passes this onto his offspring making them ideal partners for the amateur or professional rider.  Certificate of Pedigree from the American Hanoverian Society.  Lifetime USEF & USHJA.

Gesan HFH is sired by Gadget (Gesandt / Grossherzoggin / Gaspano).   Gadget possesses some of the most famous lineage found in the Hanoverian breed. Gadget's sire, Gesandt, placed 5th in his stallion test in Germany scoring above average for both movement and jumping ability and 9's for his character as a riding horse and his trainability. On Gadget's sire’s side is the legendary Gotthard.  In his time Gotthard was known as the best producer of jumping horses in the world.  Gotthard descendants have continually improved over the generations, without losing the jumping ability.

The D-line is present with Davos, by Duellant, who founded a big group of stallions, very good in conformation and movement, and with great dressage talent. Influence from the Thoroughbred stallion, Der Lowe, appears on both parents lineage. Der Lowe, was in his time the best Thoroughbred stallion used in German breeding, producing especially good dressage horses as well as cross-county horses.
